1950's Evans Sunburst w/Jewels Compact Carryall

Stunning 1950's Evans, USA Compact Carryall. This compact carryall is gold tone metal with a striking 'sunburst' design with a bejeweled center decoration made up of pretty pastel paste stones. The carryall has two sides, the first comprises a powder compact with the Evans mark on the lid, a place for the original puff and a coin holder and integral lipstick holder. There is a full-length mirror and a place for a small comb which sits flatly against the mirror. On the reverse side is a compartment for cigarettes or a handkerchief or dance card. This side is also signed by Evans. There is a solid gold tone metal mesh handle which takes the length in total to 28 cm.<br><br>This compact carryall (which can be described as a vanity case or minaudiere) is in excellent condition throughout.
