George III plain silver circular teapot of squat bulbous form, with turned wood finial and C-scroll. Mid Century Modern. A very handsome George III style silver teapot, plain in style, featuring a wooden handle and finial. Known as a Bachelor pot, it holds three cups, circa 1920s. Beautifully made. Mappin & Webb is a jewelry company headquartered in the United Kingdom, tracing its origins to a silver workshop founded in 1775. It has held Royal Warrants to the British Monarchy since 1897.
