Antique handmade flatweave wool rug measuring 38" x 58". Features 42 unique rectangular patterns within 5" x 8" boxes.
Bordered in dark brown with a field showcasing red, black, light blue, tan, and pink.
Believed to be South American, possibly Peruvian, and dating to mid-century.
Wool on cotton warp and weft. May have been loomed in two pieces and joined in the middle.
Excellent condition. Requires a rug pad for use.
