Pair of antique bronze bookends crafted by Kathodion Bronze Works around 1920, featuring Rodin's "The Thinker." Heavy, approximately 4 pounds each, with original green felt on the bottom. Kathodian Bronze Works (KBW) operated in New York City from approximately 1900 to 1916, specializing in Victorian-style bronze bookends using the electroform method.
These bookends are in good, untested condition. No apparent damage, chips, or cracks. Felt shows signs of wear. Sold as-is. A rare find for collectors of antique bookends and Rodin memorabilia.
