Antique "Setters" By R Pollard Engraver & Print seller Framed Glass Cover

This antique engraving in color print depicts three English Setters looking at two ducks.<br>Wood Framed Glass Covered.<br>Aug 3, 1816 By R Pollard Engraver &amp; Print seller, Holloway Near London is engraved at the bottom of the print.<br>Robert Pollard (1755–1838) was an English engraver and painter.<br>For a time he practiced as a landscape and marine painter, producing such works as "The Departure".<br>In 1781 he moved to London, worked as an engraver for the print seller John Harris.<br>There, Pollard produced a large number of plates, executed in his own mixed style, composed of line engraving, etching, and aquatint. <br>In Holloway Place he ran a print selling business, for which his son James supplied many of the designs.<br>Approximate size: Length 16" x Width 13 1/2"<br>Approximate weight: 2 lb 5.2 oz<br>Excellent condition, except for a small chip on the wood frame as shown in the last picture.<br>Offers are welcomed.
