Antique syrup pitcher with crazing and staining throughout! No chips or cracks anywhere. The metal lid is hinged and opens/closes without issues. Stamped “Bennett’s Patent January 23, 1873”.
About Bennett Pottery:
Bennett, an English native, started his small pottery in the mid-1800s, producing around 3,000 pieces a week. The pottery experienced several name changes and was forced to file for bankruptcy during the Depression, finally closing in 1936. The syrup pitcher is worth about $125 to $175. As Is.
