Description: 1883. First edition. Hardcover, square 8vo. in brown leather with gilt title, gilt edges. 122pp. engraved frontis of the Brooklyn Bridge. Light wear to corners, top and bottom of spine. Tissue covering of frontis somewhat frayed. Some even age toning/browning on pages. Contents are complete in a good binding; however, it should be rebound as the strings feel a little loose. Book has been handled very carefully due to the age of the binding. The pages are not stained, just browning from age. It appears as if this book was purchased and put safely away.
