RARE Vintage Pyrex Flameware Double Boiler & Insert with Glass Lid, in Excellent Used Condition. Minor rust noted between glass and metal bands (see photos).
Includes three pieces: sauté pot, double boiler insert, and lid. Pots and lids are Pyrex glass, handles are Lucite. Classic mid-century modern design. These rare sets sell for upwards of $160 (see last two pics).
Perfect for delicate recipes requiring low heat, such as melting chocolate, hollandaise sauce, or custards. The saucepan can also be used separately with the lid.
