Doran Company, this illustrated edition includes dramatic plates by Harry Rountree. A classic early work of science fiction and catastrophe literature.
Details: First U.S. edition, 1913. Illustrated with full-page plates. Original red cloth with gilt titles (spine and boards faded). Cloth shows heavy staining and spotting (see photos), corners bumped, spine worn. Pages toned with some foxing but text and plates complete. Binding intact.
A scarce early Conan Doyle collectible despite condition issues — priced accordingly. Sold AS-IS.
