Gorgeous vintage Mazer necklace, signed and dating to the 1940s. All set in brilliant rhodium-plated metal.
The chain features prong-set clear emerald cuts, and the clasp is adorned with emerald cuts and clear squares. Where the chain meets the centerpiece, a clear emerald cut flows into ribbons of clear chatons in a large figure eight, with a wide ribbon of graduated clear baguettes in the middle. The center includes a bridge of graduated clear baguettes attached to articulated bands of clear chatons top and bottom, and three rows of clear tiny emerald cuts. At the very bottom is a clear pear-shaped drop. BREATHTAKING!
Measurements: 16 inches long, centerpiece measures 2 3/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
