Mid-Century Modern freeform art pottery ashtray/dish by Sascha Brastoff (1918-1993). Features a hand-painted peacock with vibrant plumage in blue, teal, green, gold, and black accents.
Dimensions: 5.5" long x 5.25" wide x 6.25" high.
Includes original paperwork. Signed "Sascha B" in gold. Marked with a golden Rooster backstamp over Sascha Brastoff / California / U.S.A. / H3 on base. Brastoff was active in Los Angeles from 1947-1963.
