In response to the escalating affordable housing crisis in the Peel Region, SacredHand Canada proudly presents Stay the Night Drop-in Program. This initiative addresses the pressing issue of homelessness by offering 30 beds daily, complete with comfortable bedding and essential toiletries. Operating for 12 hours each day 7:PM-7:AM, evening till morning, the program provides a safe and warm haven for individuals in need, irrespective of discriminatory barriers. Stay the Night offers comprehensive services such as laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi access, showering amenities, dinner, Breakfast, and free snacks. With a commitment to inclusivity and dignity, this program seeks to restore stability and compassion to the lives of those grappling with the challenges of homelessness in Peel Region. The Stay the Night Drop-in Program provides:
- Clean Beds: Offering 30 beds daily, each equipped with comfortable blankets, pillows, and clean sheets, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
- Dinner and Breakfast Services: Nourishing meals to ensure that individuals have a satisfying dinner and a wholesome breakfast.
- Snack Corner: Free emergency snacks available throughout the night, providing comfort and sustenance.
- Shower Facilities: Access to clean and safe shower facilities, promoting hygiene and well-being.
- Laundry Services: Equipped with laundry facilities, ensuring individuals can maintain clean clothes and personal belongings.
- Washrooms: Clean and accessible washrooms for personal hygiene needs.
- Wi-Fi Access: Providing free Wi-Fi access, enabling individuals to stay connected and access online resources.
